As an SAP Basis Administrator (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and availability of our SAP systems. You will independently analyze errors and develop solutions to technical issues of varying complexity. You will support our Product Development department by operating and maintaining our development landscape and will be responsible for our productive cloud system landscape (SaaS). You have an analytical and structured approach to your work and enjoy working independently.
The following tasks fall within this area of responsibility
- Ensuring the smooth operation of our AWS cloud-based SAP system landscape
Maintaining and managing our SAP Managed Cloud offering - Setting up, administering, and operating SAP S/4HANA development and test environments
- Designing and continuously developing the technical system architecture for our new SAP S/4HANA product
- Planning and executing release upgrades, Support Package upgrades, and other system maintenance activities
- Designing, implementing, and operating technical solutions and services in the area of SAP Basis
- Supporting the delivery process of our SAP-based public transport Add-ons
- Providing SAP Basis consulting in ongoing projects and for our existing customers
- Configuring and administering SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
Our requirements
- Degree in System Integration or degree in IT or a comparable qualification, lateral entrants with a technical / scientific background are welcome
- Experience in setting up, maintaining, and operating SAP system landscapes
- Knowledge of administering SAP NetWeaver, SAP ERP 6.0, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Web Dispatcher
- Basic knowledge of IT security and certificate management
- Extensive experience with Linux-based operating systems
- Knowledge of database administration, particularly (Oracle, HANA)
- Experience working with cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Interest in new technologies and a strong willingness to learn
- A holistic approach with a high degree of initiative and an interest in a diverse range of responsibilities
- Strong team player with an innovative mindset and a pronounced service-oriented approach
- Your profile is rounded off by your strong communication skills and fluency in both German and English
