Product Owner - Back Office & Planning (m/f/d)

at one our locations Karlsruhe, Braunschweig or Hamburg
As Product Owner – Back Office & Planning (m/f/d), you will be responsible for coordinating the development and further enhancement of HanseCom’s planning and data management system, MOBILE-PLAN nextGen (Back Office). The system is being transformed from an established Java client application into a cloud-enabled web/browser application.
The following tasks fall within this area of responsibility
- You define the functional requirements for the cloud-enabled web/browser application
- You create user stories
- You define the development requirements and continuously monitor the results
- You support the Sales team with the technical evaluation of requirements as part of the tendering process
- You support Product Management, for example with presentations and similar activities
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree or training in Computer Science, Transport Engineering, or a similar field
- You have experience and knowledge of related software solutions in the public transport sector, as well as experience working with relational databases
- Ideally, you have already gained professional experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer
- You have knowledge of established software systems and their architectures, ideally combined with experience with common programming languages
- You have expertise in developing web-based applications and working with browser and cloud technologies
- Ideally, you have an understanding of complex software systems and experience working with legacy code
- Creativity, assertiveness, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail round off your profile
